Silence At Sea

Silence at Sea were great again tonight at Clwb Ifor Bach, wielding the Cardiff instrument of the week the violin and playing their fantastic songs to Oxjam kids that didn't know what hit them, but liked it anyhow. Silence at Sea have a burgeoning reportoire you really have to hear, sensitive, shimmering, instrumentally diverse and beyond that totally ace. Guitars, xylophone, accordion, melodica and some intruments I don't know combine, free sweets are handed out, a giant cat prowls the stage communicating to the audience through a telephone line, and it's a general twee Pop riot. Gareth even kept his cat suit on for the epic indie rock band that played next, which I thought was fantastic.
